MAE ATM Services are available at these facilities:
MAE East
MAE West
MAE Miami
Physical Interface Summary

The customer's border router may be co-located or remote. Its location makes no difference in the physical interface requirements. The demarcation point is the customer-facing port on the MAE network.

Logical Interface Summary

The customer uses PeerMaker provisioner to create, modify, and delete peering circuits. PeerMaker provides the connection identifier (VPI/VCI) for each connection endpoint port to the destination customer when both have accepted the circuit parameters.

Peering Connection Classes

Priority:  This connection class is available only for connections between regional ports in the same metropolitan area. The customer specifies committed bandwidth for a connection; the MCR (Minimum Cell Rate) is set to the committed rate. The PCR (Peak Cell Rate) is set to twice the committed rate. If the endpoint ports of a connection have different rates the slower port determines the maximum MCR and PCR of the connection.

Best Effort:  The customer does not specify connection bandwidth. The MCR is set to 100 CPS, and the PCR is set to the maximum allowed for the port. If the endpoint ports of a connection have different rates, the slower port determines the maximum PCR.
