Verizon MAE Services available at the Verizon
Exchange Facilities provide public peering services for MAE customers.
Peering is a barter arrangement by which two customers exchange
traffic to and from their own clients on a settlement-free
basis. For further information about public peering at the MAE
facilities, click here.

A customer using MAE Services subscribes to one or more MAE
ports. Traffic exchange between MAE customers is accomplished
by provisioning a circuit between two customer ports. The ports
may be in the same or different MAE regions. For information about
the MAE facilities, click here.
Layer 2 VPN service offers national reach for layer 2
